Dear Current and Future FAPI Members,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation to our FAPI family for electing me as President of this outstanding organization. I am honored and enthusiastic as I begin my first term as President of FAPI. You have given me the opportunity to serve you all in many capacities and sustain the countless traditions set by the founders of FAPI and the Presidents who followed. While treasuring the noble ideals of our Founders, I will propose some changes by developing new strategies in order to better deal with current business opportunities and the changing business climate, worldwide.
We must address concerns and challenges faced by our young investigators and interns. Our profession is constantly evolving the way business is conducted, we have a well-meaning regulatory agency that does not necessarily keep up with today’s investigative world, and we all need to re-evaluate and revisit the way we conduct business locally, nationally and internationally.
I am privileged to have an excellent team of Vice Presidents and a brilliant experienced Executive Committee to guide and assist me. I am thrilled to be assisted by our Advisory Board who provide non-binding strategic advice to our organization. Our goal is to have our FAPIans participating more on new projects, have a greater involvement, and this will surely have a positive impact on our organization.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Conference Committee Chair, Harvey Morse, the entire Conference Committee, Robert Dudash for his hours of hard work, and Marko Galbreath for stepping up to make our annual conference a great success. I also wish to express my gratitude to the vendors and sponsors who support us, and all of the members who take the time from their work schedules to be present and participate in our many training and educational events. A heartfelt thanks to our incredible speakers, many of whom traveled thousands of miles at their own expense to share their vast knowledge and experience with us. Without these remarkable colleagues, a seminar of such great importance to the investigative profession could not have been held.
Please know that I am always available to our members, no matter what the issue. If you have an idea, then share it with me!
Thank you all!
